About

Authentic Chilean food is served at this Valparaiso restaurant, which is a favorite of locals. The pastel de choclo (a meat pie) was delicious and the chorrillana (French fries covered in meat, fried eggs, and caramelized onions) was also highly recommended. The atmosphere is easygoing and the ladies running the restaurant are smiling, warm. The cerveca de la casa (house beer) is tasty and fruity with a rich flavor.

What an atmospheric place! I had just arrived in the city and climbed down 12 flights of stairs on the chance of the reviews. I had my first chorrillano, the seafood one. It was excellent. The server was very friendly even though I have Yorkshire accented Spanish. The lemonade was first class too.

Excelent food. Very typical. Menu of the day included salad and ice tea. Very tasty, and although it's a popular place you can feel the dish was made by a professional cook for the ingredients combination.

A lovely place to try some of the staples in Chilean foods - the chorillana (chips, eggs, onions and a choice of different meats from beef to horse). The vibe is very hippie, loads of stickers on the walls and matching well what Valparaiso is like.Very affordable prices too.

This is a great place to get the best renowned Chilean dishes! They also have awesome vegetarian spin offs of local favorites like pastel de choco and chorrillanas. The prices are great and all dishes include wine too! Highly recommend :)

Very friendly and warm service. Chorillana tasted amazing. They managed to make this simple dish absolutely delicious. Rustic/dive bar atmosphere with a lot of charm.
