OK,now Im confused.....I have "booked" PE (34" seat pitch) flying from GLW to SFB on 27th May...back 10th June...

I have been "assured" by FG that I am on a FG 767, and will have what Ive booked...all things being equal.....

It seems from the prev posts Ill be on the NEOS 767 with no PE...It may seem a bit petty but I booked this specifically for that little extra leg room...can anyone clarify what im going to be on.....:confused:

slightlyrestrained17th May 2007 08:34

cherokee, I can tell you with 99% certainty that you won't be on Globespan's own 767, as both of them are on lease to Air India.

The leased Neos 767 seems likely, although in recent weeks Globespan have been sending their ex-Icelandair 757s to SFB.

Cheers
Rob

GSM SCOT17th May 2007 09:57

NEOS to SFB

From 25th of May the only aircraft that will fly to SFB from GLA is the 767 NEOS aircraft. I will have the full GSM service onboard.

cherokee7017th May 2007 10:19

Thanks for the replies :ok: What does full GSM service mean..(sorry to labour a point) does that mean Ill get everything bar the legroom,or have they re jigged the layout??

Thanks

Any ideas for W2007/8? Not much online yet. Looking espacially for YVR! Are they going to serve it during the Winter?

Thanks Funflyer

yvonnelynch18th May 2007 10:20

the winter flights were up a few weeks ago to sfb from bfs and glasgow but they are gone now i would say they are getting the kinks ironed out and then da flights will be up again better to launch a service that u can cope with hope they have learned there lesson from what has happened so far this year !! i the staff and crews are 2 good 2 be taking all the crap that they have been left in.

webby191918th May 2007 10:35

BOS will definitely run over W07, as it received RDF from the Government.

It is planned to run 3x weekly, but may be more with one going via Knock.

SFB will no doubt return for W07 maybe 2 weekly. YHM is a cert to continue but maybe only 2 weekly from GLA as it will probably operate similar frequency from LGW and MAN.

YVR and YCC may not continue, but if they do I only see it being weekly flights.

JFK flights are on sale just now up to early Jan 08.

TechProblem18th May 2007 20:02

YVR will be replaced by CPT/Joburg at manchester, although the YHM will continue, not such how many flights though.

gavin36019th May 2007 10:58

will there be flights to sfb going from bfs ??

DONTTELLTHEPAX19th May 2007 12:05

GSM165 from STN-YYZ why is it going into YYZ and not YHM ?

goldeneye19th May 2007 18:09

Would think YYC could be maintained through winter as there is always demand for the ski resorts like Banff and Lake Louise.
Flight could operate from London or Manchester via Glasgow. Twice a week maybe.

Flightrider19th May 2007 18:31

Winter schedule plan:

No Boston or Canada flying from any departure points.

1 x B767 on MAN-JNB and MAN-CPT.

Daily LPL-JFK goes throughout the winter on B757.

B757 based in SFB to operate 2 x weekly GLA, 1 x weekly BFS, 1 x weekly LPL, 1 x weekly NCL.

2 X B737-600 based in BHX to operate short-haul routes from December. (Daily AGP, daily ALC, TFS 2 x weekly, ACE 2 x weekly, LPA 2 x weekly, FAO 2 x weekly)

1 x B737-600 based in CWL to operate a mix of routes inc TFS 2 x weekly, ACE 1 x weekly, ALC 2 x weekly, AGP 2 x weekly and FNC 1 x weekly.

New Sharm services on Wednesdays from GLA and EDI. New weekly FNC flights from EDI. No changes at STN (daily TFS) but no LPL-TFS this winter.

dwlpl19th May 2007 19:01

B757 based in SFB to operate 2 x weekly GLA, 1 x weekly BFS, 1 x weekly LPL, 1 x weekly NCL.

Is the Liverpool/Orlando Sanford corrrect?

mmeteesside19th May 2007 19:41

Anything extra in there for MME? Looking at the times of our TFS flights they're not exactly slack so it points towards a 73G or 738 for us!?

dwlpl20th May 2007 08:58

Its the weekend again and no posts about delays, whats happening?

OltonPete20th May 2007 10:28

BHX

I can't say I speak for all BHX locals but there have been a lot of
rumours and this one has never cropped up as far as I know!

Taking on ZB & WW on most of the destinations mentioned is surprising but I am sure BHX will take anything at the moment.

Is there any likely announcement date?

I was told that a google search of birmingham+globespan produces a major leisure show being held at the NEC from 13-17 June and guess who is one of the sponsors?

A good time for publicity or just 2+2=5?

Pete

warkman20th May 2007 12:43

Oh OK, Just for you then dwlpl :p

GSM726 SFB to GLA due 13:15, now expected 16:07

Man-Toronto Hamilton GSM 103 dep 13:25, no depature time as of yet

DONTTELLTHEPAX20th May 2007 13:20

Would be good to see GSM put a live flight arrival and departure
link on the website.:E

gavin36020th May 2007 15:34

flightrider 757 2 sfb for the winter? why use that a/c after all the messing with fuel stops and so on

caaardiff20th May 2007 16:16

1 x B737-600 based in CWL to operate a mix of routes inc TFS 2 x weekly, ACE 1 x weekly, ALC 2 x weekly, AGP 2 x weekly and FNC 1 x weekly.

Great for CWL! 8 flights a week isn't enough for a based a/c though. Is it part week or is there more to come?

GSM need to get in on CWL-SFB. The demand is great, has been for years, and some airlines are recently cutting their flights (TOM/MON).

All times are GMT. The time now is 00:25.
