I’ve seen gratitude be my lynchpin.Over and over again.Gratitude is a powerful demonstration that can have real impact on the way you live your life, let alone your ability to win new business. When you 'sincerely' express gratitude with a prospective customer, it shows that you value their business and appreciate the opportunity to partner in solving problems. This is how you accelerate trust building, strengthen relationships, and increase loyalty. Heck, in highly competitive markets, it can be what differentiates you. So go and be your sincere self and practice gratitude......AND make it the unpinning to your entire sales process.Take it from me, some of the largest deals I’ve ever won, point back to being grateful.Truly grateful for the opportunity.Wear your heart on your sleeve. And when you’re authentic about it, you’ll become magnetic.Happy Wednesday, ya’ll.

Co working spaces are evolving!I’ve tried a lot of them but always found the same experience. Coffee and snacks are great but there was no collaboration, networking, or fun conversations.People showed up but everyone just put on their headphones and sat quietly. I went from feeling isolated at home to feeling isolated in a public environment. Vince Beese reaching out and explaining how Sales HQ is different struck a cord immediately.“Imagine a Co Working space where people are learning, collaborating, and growing to be more productive, have better work results, and building your network with like minded individuals”In my first month, I’ve met other account executives, CEO’s, and CRO’s from different start ups. I’ve learned new and better ways to serve clients and my career. I've built a daily routine to keep me focused throughout the day and eliminate the distractions (getting out of the house was BIG for this). That feeling that you made the right choice that is validated daily is a powerful thing.Anyone in the Raleigh-Durham, RTP area that wants to see what Sales HQ is about. Come check it out for a free day.Yes we have free coffee and snacks here too!#sales #coworking #raleigh #durham #startupsP.S. This isn't just for sales people, it's for anyone that works remote that wants to get out the bad habits from working at home and be part of a community!

The recognition Janek Performance Group continues to receive is a testament to the sales outcomes we're helping our clients drive. Many overcomplicate sales effectiveness, in part, because there are SO many considerations for today's sales leaders.Tools. Strategy. Processes. Comp. Customer profiles. Territories. But at the end of the day, it's about your sellers, in the moment, with your clients and prospects. This is where we help. #sales #salesperformance #salesenablement #salestraining #salestrainer #salesgrowth #salessuccess #salesleadership #salesmanagement #b2bselling

It’s that time of the year again for National Sales Awards meetings. Congratulations to all of you who did well this year in business. Kudos to you for your efforts and success. It makes me think, what if there was a yearly event like this for us as husbands/wives, fathers/mothers. Did we hit our percent to quota for being there for our spouse day in and day out, for our kids’s difficulties in managing relationships, for showing affection to our spouses not because we “want something” from them but just because we love and appreciate them, for being present and active - praising the good we see and correcting the poor behavior in our children, because we care more about their success in life as a decent person than we do about our accolades at work. Have we exemplified to them that love and commitment to your spouse and children are more important than making a name for yourself. By all means, do well at work and be an example for others, but be sure to make your family the top priority. You will be replaced in no-time-flat if you leave your company…and life will go on there without you; but you are irreplaceable at home, and you leave gaping wounds when you don’t demonstrate that they are at the top of the priority list. Live it out, do it well.

Are you struggling to generate more B2B sales meetings in Benelux, DACH or Nordics? Check my profile

Last year, in honor of our father's 69th birthday, my brother Ruben Hartog and I took our father to El Derbi Madrileño; Altético Madrid - Real Madrid. Before we entered the stadium we wanted to eat something from a Wok & Go near the stadium.Once I arrived at the front of the queue it became clear to me why it took so long. Besides the crowds, there were 2 girls working who didn't look that comfortable. Not surprising, because one of the ladies had her first day and the other was in her first week."first day" and "first week" is how they kept apologizing to all impatient customers. In the b2b sales landscape a lot of companies have sky high expectations from their (new hired) SDR'S, AE'S and CSM'S.As with the Wok and Go, due to busyness, little attention is paid to strategy and processes and new people are quickly left to fend for themselves. The result often is a sky-high burn rate, no growth and again pressure on HR to find new "good" people.A scalable and predictable growth machine consists of strategy, processes and skills. No hacks or cheats for this one ;).

Smashed our Q1 goals & feeling great!Yesterday was one of the most mentally relaxing days of this year so far BECAUSE we closed the books on March 2024 and the quarter. My business partnerKhaled Ismaeelsent message "We've booked BD XXXX in sales in the first quarter of 2024 alone, which is 68% of what we did in 2023 and 50% of what we did in 2022! This is fantastic! Even if we maintain a consistent pace, even if it's smaller than Q1, this year will be a record year for us."I must say, It was not easy:Learned new skills, Pushed my limits, Felt overstressed, At some points, I almost cried, Laughed a lot,Multitasked, and much more.Overall, it's been a crazy ride, but most importantly, I enjoyed every moment of it.Now the question is: Who made all this possible?I believe it wasn't just my self-confidence, but the trust of the people I worked with played a huge role. I'm grateful to have amazing clients and partners who support me.Special shout-out and big thanks to Havier, Katia, Gokul, Aakash, Shan, Kaushal, Preethi, Rajiv, Vishnu, Anjana and all of our vendors for continuously supporting us, making this happen. With their support we serve our clients with the best products and services, month in and month out.Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year brings!Who helped you achieve your goals this quarter? Yesterday, amid the bustling energy of attending the dynamic AGM of the Public Affairs Forum of India in the sweltering heat of New Delhi, I encountered a moment of profound inspiration that compels me to share. Opting for an Uber ride, I crossed paths with Uber partner driver Pawan Kumar, a remarkable individual epitomizing resilience, determination, and an unyielding positive outlook. Despite encountering obstacles, Pawan's commitment to excellence radiated through his impeccably maintained cab and unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction. His journey from adversity to triumph stands as a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit. As Pawan likely hits the road again today, touching yet another life, let's take a moment to recognize such individuals like Pawan Kumar in our midst, celebrating the very essence of humanity.Join me in celebrating Pawan's story of triumph and watch our conversation here:-https://lnkd.in/gUHi2Bjm#Inspiration #Resilience #Determination"
